Aspire- VS Wushu Talent Development Camp
(31st Aug-1st Sep 2008)
The VS Wushu Team began modestly with a few casual students training after school in 2003. We started modestly by fielding a few participants in individual events in 2004 and 2005. Finally, our hard work paid off in 2006 when we were formally recognised as a CCA in Victoria School and fields a team to participate in the National Inter-School’s Wushu Championships. That year, we achieved 3 medals (1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze) in Individual events and Silver for Group Quan.
This year, we have made history in VS by breaking into National top four positions for both participating divisions in the National Interschool’s Wushu Championships. The B-Div Boys team are ranked 3rd, while our C-Div Boys are ranked 2nd nationally.
